of candy and took them to corey's class to share
with his class and he bought him some fishing lures.
He got a double dose of sugar.
Presents!
Corey got the coveted Star Valley wrestling sweater
Jared was a little excited about the cake and
ice cream part.

Fourth of July 2008
I know these pictures are old but sometimes you need a little July when you are living in the land of snow! I was looking at these photos on my computer and wishing it were summer again. Our 4th of July was a blast we had Isaacsons and Marchants here and we had a great firework show.
                 Naptime

How to get Lyndie to sleep:
1. put her in the crib with lots of babies (especially ones that have hair to rub.)
2. put a blanket over her head
3. leave the room and shut the door
and.......Voila she is out like a light!

Lyndie is our best napper and falls asleep so easily around 12;30 to 1:00 every day but Sunday. (just like clock work)

Clayton's Blessing
We went to Vernal for clayton's blessing he is the newest member of the Marchant family and Kyle and Amy's youngest.  Their son clint is extremely happy to have a brother. Can you blame him living in a house of mostly girls.  What a cute family they are I wish I would have taken a picture of their whole family.  Clay is very cute and a good baby.
Clay and Uncle Kent
Kyle and Becca Boo.  Becca said before Clay was born "I can't wait until Clint has his baby brother."  Kyle and Amy said well he will be your brother too."   "No! He is just Clint's brother I don't like boys." was Becca's reply.  I think she likes him now and wouldn't give him up.
Robyn, Mel and Kent chillin. I love my sister-in-laws. Oh and Kent too.
Grandpa Marchant doing what he does best (holding his Grandkids)
Kent and Mel (aren't they cute together!)
Mel is expecting and due in August. I am way excited.
Kevin lookin sweet.  He is a very cute Daddy to Cassidy.
Grandma chillin with her girls
Lyndie has laid claim to both her Grandpa's and loves them both.  She wouldn't have anything to do with her uncles but she is definitely a Grandpa's girl.  She went to Grandpa any chance she got.  Lyndie loves to rub grandpa Marchant's hair.
The leaning Tower of Yogurt

I got home from grocery shopping and set all my bags on the floor Lyndie grabbed out all the big yogurt and sour cream containers and viola!  This was her finished product.
Peanuuuut, Peanut Butter and Jelly

Jared and Lyndie sat down on the kitchen floor to eat their sandwiches and I had to take a picture they are so sweet together.  They go together like peanut butter and jelly and seem to really like each others company.

Stuff  Your Face!!!!!

Cheese!!!
             Bookworm

Corey loves to read and I can often find him somewhere in the living room close to the wood stove absorbed in a book.
 Valentine's Preparations
Cole' valentine's mask.  Cole looked at this picture and said, " Oh, you can almost see my other eye."

Abbie working away on valentines for the kids in her class.  (Warning, do not interrupt her or take her stuff.   Just ask Jared it can be scary!)
ooooh!  My
look who I just found in Tyler's closet it was quiet in our house again and Jared was no where to be found.  I guess he needed to work on keeping the under arm odor under control so Tyler's deodorant did the trick.  As soon as I walked in Jared threw down the deodorant and said sorry Mom.( How do you not laugh at that?)  I guess he thought he was in trouble.  Just don't tell Tyler. ( well Jared's armpits  smells good right now anyway)

Read Me a Story  PLEEEEEEEEASE  Ty!
Lyndie has Tyler wrapped around her little finger.  She loves to be read to and brought her favorite book "TheBig Hungry Bear" to Tyler and handed it to him. Batted her eyelashes and he couldn't resist.
Grandma Isaacson got this book for christmas for Lyndie.  It is the new favorite along with any book that has animals especially puppies.

RRRRRRROOOAR! Lyndie has to growl when it talks about the big hungry bear and will have a growling contest with you to see who is loudest.  She is  LOUD!  And, hard to beat.

Buzz Lightyear

Cole's teacher has this fun little project she does each year with her kids.  This Buzz light year doll is passed around the class so each kid gets a turn taking Buzz home and showing him what they do after school. Then the kids write about it in a book and draw pictures or have their Mom's take pictures of what they did.  Then they return the book to school.  Well it was Cole's turn.  His teacher said " Cole are you ready to take Buzz home. " "NO" he said.  He did not want  to do it.  I talked to his teacher tonight at the A.R. reading they have for the first graders.  She said this is the first time ever any of the kids have said no.  The kids in his class couldn't believe he didn't want to either.  I am still trying to figure it out.  Cole got in the car after school and said.  I hate Buzz he is wimpy. But he brought him home anyway.  He read stories to him played computer games and let buzz help him bring in wood.  He even drew a picture of him.  He seemed to enjoy doing it but wouldn't admit it. He refused to take him to the A.R. reading night.  He did not want to be seen in public with him and still claims Buzz is wimpy .  Is it possible to  hit adolesence seven years early.  Oh boy!

THE BIGGEST ISAACSON FISH
Tyler's Pike

So maybe this should have been the hunting
fishing blogspot.  This seems to be the only
activities the nuthouse people know how to do.
Tyler and corey insisted that I post these pictures
taken during the summer of 2007  in Beaver at
grandpa and grandma Marchant's house.  Uncle Kurt
had some sweet connections and set the boys up with
a fishing experience to remember.  They caught these
on a friends pond in Beaver.

                 ICE FISHING
              with the Isaacson troop

We were invited to ice fish on a lake of a really good friends.
It was a beautiful sunny day around 40 degrees and if it
weren't for the wind it would have been perfect.  The kids
were in heaven and even though it was bitter cold from
the wind Tyler, Corey and Cole did not once stop to come
and get warm in the car.
Corey with his 16" tiger trout.  ( I know He looks so depressed!)
Cole's 17" rainbow trout.
Tyler's 21" tiger trout.
Corey and Tyler showing off

Abbie was a great little fisherwoman and her
patience paid off she caught a whopper.
Jared fishing!  Jared had more fun rolling in the snow doing summersaults and reeling in his line. Jason finally just gave up trying to help him catch a fish he was more interested in reeling in the line.
Whoa!!  I know what you are thinking "where can I get a  sweet looking camo suit just like that one."  Well it is one of a kind and warm too.  I'm sure everyone will be rushing out to find one just like it.  My fishing trip was of course wrestling Lyndie and trying to keep her warm.  So I stayed with Lyndie in the car most of the time.  It was much warmer there and I am not one for cold and windy weather and neither is Lyndie.   Thank goodness I was not a Pioneer.

Lyndie did what she does best (sucked her fingers, rubbed her doll's hair and fell asleep)
We have found if she has a doll with hair around she doesn't have to pull mom's out.  She has two dolls she loves and she's holding them both in this picture. She not quite a fisherwoman yet.
